The Golf GTI remap is one of our ECU remapping specialities. With hundreds of successful Golf GTI remaps completed making More-BHP Golf GTI Remaps not only tried and tested but also trusted. The Golf GTI ECU remapping process includes in-depth engine diagnostics and visual checks - vital for any Golf 1.8T before a remap. The ECU from the car can be remapped to provide huge increases in BHP and Torque.

Golf GTI remap for 1.8T AGU cable throttle engine - produced late 1997 to 2000

A strong engine with the smaller K03 turbo. Can be programmed at More-BHP by OBD or Chip Tuning.

• Stage 1 remap expect 185-190bhp on a good standard car.
• Stage 2 remap expect 200bhp with a FULL turbo back exhaust.
• Stage 3 remap - replace the K03 turbo with the later Golf GTI K03S and see 220-240BHP (final power depends on other mods like exhaust and intercooler).

Golf GTI remap for 1.8T AUM AUQ DBW "drive-by-wire" engine - produced 2000-2004

A good engine plagued by small split hoses - hence our exhaustive pre-remapping diagnostics on the later 1.8T Golf GTI. Fitted with the slightly larger K03S turbo allowing for more boost and better top end delivery. We offer OBD ECU remapping, switchable remapping and chip tuning for the Golf GTI.

• Stage 1 remap expect 195-210bhp on a good standard car.
• Stage 2 remap expect 205-225bhp with a quality exhaust - the better results are for FULL turbo back.
• Stage 3 remap - full turbo back exhaust, uprated intake pipe and filter, quality FMIC (front mount intercooler), cooler plugs, super unleaded, new MAF, lambda and coolant sensors - expect 225-240bhp
• Stage 4 custom remap - K04 turbo, injectors, intake, MAF from TT225/S3 - FMIC and "race" exhaust expect 280-320 bhp depending on exact mods.
• Stage 5 big turbo remap - GT28 or similar turbo with injector and MAF mods - 300+ BHP.

If you have had the OBD port locked by an expired REVO or APR trial then no need to worry. We can bypass their system so you can have a More-BHP ECU Remap.

Golf GTI remap for 2.0T TFSI 200 (MK5)

Remapping the MK5 Golf GTI makes for so much fun. Depending on your requirements we can make power between 240 and 270bhp with just and engine remap. All delivered smoothly with a huge improvement in mid range torque. The speed limiter can also be removed if required.

We have also developed UK leading software for the K04 upgrade where S3 / Edition30 parts are fitted. We have this setup dyno'd at 374bhp !! with just a decat - full exhaust will be 390bhp. ....read more here.

We can remap this car through the diagnostic socket with the option of switchable remapping if desired.

If you have had a "free" taster trial remap from APR or REVO then unfortunately your OBD socket is LOCKED. We will to access the BDM socket inside the ECU. We will need to remove the ECU to repair the code and program the ECU directly. The extra work involved in removal and repair costs an additional £50.

Golf GTI Edition30 remap for 2.0T TFSI 230 (MK5)

WOW ... What a car .. just un-kindly limited to 230-240 by VW. It begs to have the ECU remapped to remove those power and torque limits (and maybe the speed limit). Stage 1 remapping can instantly take the car to 310+bhp with a massive increase in torque. When remapped this car really is fast - strong until 4,000 rpm then kicks again - even stronger.

If you are prepared to uprate the Golf ED30 exhaust then Stage 2 remapping can allow up to 340-350bhp.

Add an uprated fuel pump and have the "race" remap then 375-390 bhp is possible.

With the speed limiter removed they are capable or 170+ mph and are a match for many a supercar !

For track use we can enable "left foot braking" which allows both the brake and throttle to work at the same time.

Golf GTI TSI 210 remap for the new MK6

ECU remapping the MK6 Golf GTI TSI is similar to the MK5 - although using a revised engine with the later MED17 ECU. Our developed Stage 1 remap for the Golf GTI TSi MK6 will make 250-260BHP. Much improved torque figures with a better "progressive" power delivery making the car "feel" even faster.

We can programme the ECU through the ODB socket on pre 2009 cars. Later cars will need the ECU remapping on the bench to bypass "tuner protection".

Golf R remap

The fastest most powerful production Golf turbo ever made. From the factory 270+ bhp is available but like all the other models More-BHP can release it's true potential. The 4WD system makes for perfect traction and fantastic handling - totally ready for ECU Remapping. Our highly engineered Stage 1 ECU remapping can easily increase power to 310bhp with unbelievable mid range torque and top end delivery.

For the enthusiast who is prepared to upgrade the exhaust and fuelling then 340 - 400bhp is possible with our Stage 2 or Race programming. These usually need the ECU remapping on the bench to bypass "tuner protection".
